June 27th Surfcasters Report
The past weekend has not been the best for anglers looking for Stripers in the Canal. With warmer water, and a lack of bait, bluefish have been heavily feeding in both the east and west end. In the early mornings before the sun rises, there have been larger Stripers moving into the east end as they chase squid and the occasional school of mackerel. With big bass holding right outside the mouths of the east, and west end, I am positive that the strong new moon tides will make the Canal extremely productive for anglers. Once again, I'll be out there this week if you can find me! Hope everyone has a productive week with these upcoming moon tides. Tight lines everyone!
